We All Are Small Faces

Well, most of us are around here anyway.  Trick's Synthetic Podcast ends our annual "Backyard Band and BBQ" series with a tribute to my favorite English mod group from the 60's.  Who you ask? NO the other mod band from London, The Small Faces.  Being the host, I picked these tunes out myself and even bought the meat for the cook-out.  So join us as we salute (left to right above) Ian McLagan, Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane,  and Kenney Jones, but not necessarily Jimmy Winston ... and may be Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart  with the tunes with tiny visages:

Ol' Slow Hand Backyard BB-Q (and Band, too! )

The Backyard  Bar-be-que and Band is a  tradition at Trick's Synthetic Podcast. Over the years we've covered  Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and The Fab Four, yes even them.  Last year covered musical legends Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Otis Redding, and even threw in Willie Dixon and another Bob Dylan as a double bonus.  But, we aren't done yet.  So far this season we've from heard Don's and Duke's favorite bands, The Monkees and The Doors, and  we continue at the Backyard Band and BBQ with rock and blues legend, Eric Clapton, presented almost live from Slow Hand's Bar-Be-Que ...as only Trick's Synthetic Podcast can.  And who knows we just might discover how he does those guitar tricks!
