Saturday Single

Sam Cooke was an American singer and is considered to be one of the pioneers and founders of soul music. Cooke had 29 top-40 hits in the U.S. between 1957 and 1964. On December 11, 1964, Cooke was fatally shot by the manager of the Hacienda Motel in Los Angeles at the age of 33.
Lewis Allan "Lou" Reed is an American musician, songwriter, and photographer. He is best known as guitarist, vocalist, and principal songwriter for The Velvet Underground. In 2009, Reed became an active member of the Jazz Foundation of America and was a featured performer at the foundation's annual benefit "A Great Night in Harlem." This week's Saturday Single is Lou singing Sam's hit,"A Change Is Gonna Come" from Trick's Synthetic Podcast, Saturday Single.
