662: Bank Walkers

Years ago my dad educated this young kid about the term "bank walkers."  The term dates back many decades back to a time when kids often snuck off to the local swimming hole, stripped down to their birthday suit and dove in. But some of the guys who were overly endowed spent as much, if not more time, hanging walking around on the banks...as Elvin Bishop sung,"strutting their stuff!" Trick's borrowed this term and created "Bank Walkers, Long Songs for Frugal Folks!" And every Tuesday guy's night out, we get our money's worth out of the jukebox with songs just like these. So join us for the first Bank Walker podcast:

Swan Song (7:10) - Sam Apple Pie

Beware, Brother, Beware (7:35) - David Bromberg

Macon Hambone Blues (9:35) - Wet Willie

Season of the Witch (11:07) - Michael Bloomfield and Al Kooper

Low Spark of High Heeled Boys (11:39) - Traffic

Please, Please, Please (12:22) - James Brown

Loan Me A Dime (13:01) - Boz Scaggs and Duane Allman
