Leon Russell has been a favorite of mine since the 60's and I had the opportunity to hear him in his later days. The master of space and time, trained to play in church and honky-tonks, traveled from Oklahoma to the West Coast to work as a studio musician, in demand by the BIG Boys!, He was a song-smith with the voice of a man who's seen good times and rough days.
