Run For Cover(S)

It's been a while since Trick's  had an" all covers" podcast and this is an appropriate time to as we celebrate the birthday of a charter Green Door alumni (Loggy, November 19th) and the home going of a Green Door regular (Hoover Gimble) both shared good times at the little house of music in Nacogdoches in the early 1970's.  So join me as I look back and reminisce about the songs we learned at the Green Door with:

Funk#49 (James Gang) - Travis Wamack
Keep On Smiling (Wet Willie) - Tommy Castro
Wasp (Texas Radio) (Doors) - Alexis Korner
Born Under A Bad Sign (Cream) B2B
with Fear Itself
and Blue Cheer
Roundabout (Yes) - Robert Berry
Further On Down The Road (Taj Mahal) - Jesse Ed Davis
Jesus Just Left Chicago (ZZ Top) - Shemekia Copeland
Got A Line On You (Spirit) - Jeff Healey
She's About A Mover (Doug Sahm) B2B
 with Little Willie G
and The Bottle Rockets
Sailin' Shoes (Little Feat) - Randy Newman/Valerie Carter
Belly Button Window (Jimi Hendrix) - Anna Popovic
Where's The Money (Dan Hicks) - Bill Wymans Rhythm Kings

On My! It's Jimmy and Mike!
